When Goddess Kali comes into your life, you can rest assured things are going to change – dramatically.
Anything you’re clinging to that isn’t serving your TRUE self is going to go, maybe in phases, maybe all at once – either way, it’s gonna get stripped.
I went through a phase where no matter what oracle deck I used, I pulled a Kali card. She made herself known. When I pulled a card asking about the primary focus for the next offering I’m creating, guess what I got?
KALI.
So here we go.
In a world that congratulates us for accumulating, achieving (in a very yang way) + competing for the top spot/most followers/whatever, what do you do when all those things fall away?
Who are you without:
-your followers, likes + little red hearts of approval
-your job or title
-a partner
-your kids
-your wardrobe
-your resume or degrees
– “x” amount of money
-a body that society says is appealing or your looks
-your home
-a car
-blah, blah, blah
If the energy of #Kali swoops in, you know you’re here to dive beneath those surface level things. It’s scary to be naked or exposed. Yet Kali knows better – that your fear isn’t the Truth.
We’re taught that in order to be radiant, happy, worthy or “successful” that we need to “do” or “have” rather than “BE”. Kali will make sure you have nothing left to do BUT BE with yourself – in the dark, in the discomfort, in the unknown, in the #vulnerability.
It’s easy to feel “worthy” when you have things to show off to other people.
What about when you don’t? Do you still feel worthy then?
For years I wanted to crawl into a hole and hide, because I was ashamed that my life seemingly “fell apart” (according to society’s standards) + that I really had nothing material to prove for all my years of toil + labor.
Then Kali came in to show me who I am without all that. I know this IS the path. And I’m not the only one meant to experience it.
Has Kali come to you? If so, you’re exactly where you need to be.
When we’ve got nothing left to separate the self from the [higher] Self, you learn to welcome the dark/integrate it, not fear it. Kali destroys; she also liberates.
