The shadow energy of Scorpio: the Alchemist and the Phoenix archetypes

March 12, 2021

Everyone benefits from understanding these archetypes.

If you’ve got Scorpio dominant in your natal chart, you KNOW.

Scorpio energy is intense, dark, raw + transformative.

It’s connected to the cycles of death/rebirth, money, power and sex.

The higher octave of Scorpio is the alchemy, conscious currency, sacred sexuality, empowerment.

The lower octave of Scorpio is obsession, fixation on control, manipulation, mistrust and distorting our power (like misusing money or life-force energy).

For ex: Russell Brand has Scorpio as his Midheaven. Infamous addict, he utilized a spiritual practice to alchemize the old tendencies and came out sober, wiser and of service, helping others in his work transcend addictive tendencies.

If you’re willing to face the shadow, it’s absolutely incredible the sort of alchemy you’ll achieve.

If you’re afraid of the dark, it will follow you everywhere.

Lessons will haunt you. The opportunity to integrate your shadow with trigger upon trigger will keep rearing its head until you’re ready to face it – head on.

When I first got my astro chart interpreted, she told me in this lifetime I’d spend a lot of time alone, exploring my psyche + healing issues around power/control/the Ma/Feminine energy. I’ve got a Scorpio moon + other big placements

I sighed.

All I wanted was to blend + have friends. Instead, I’d experienced much of what she spoke about (which did give me some odd sense of relief, albeit not much, in the midst of tough Saturn return).

She said my “work” is to disrupt destructive psychological patterns.

LOL, Sure to be a hit! But here I am, to share MY medicine. It’s not for everyone. But it’s def for those ready to GO THERE, for purification to rise.

A Phoenix doesn’t rise from a cozy, warm cocoon of blankets.

It burns to a crisp + rises from the rubble, from DUST, dying to be reborn stronger, clearer and more wise.

Whatever you most fear has medicine for you, teachings, holding tremendous power.
